The insurance institute of highway safety reports that half of all teenage driver accidents are one car accidents. Many times teens have trouble judging distance and speed.

This happens with adults too. The teen starts daydreaming and ends up hitting a deer or other road hazards.

Tires are the main concern here. Teens, espically boys, spend their money on other things like dates and clothes rather than a new set of tires.
