Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.

It doesn't matter if Muhammad was a religious leader or prophet or not, or he was bad or good, etc, etc. What matters is how influencial he has been. I don't believe in any Gods. Yet I do agree that Muhammad was the most influential man ever lived.

As a Christian I respect him and love his teachings about peace and how he unified us to a One True God both Islam and Christian. I have no arguments with him as the most influential PS: to those who say that our beliefs are obsolete and useless, we don't care! One aspect of these prophets (both Muhammad & Jesus) have in common other than being sent by God/Allah/Jehovah/Yahweh/etc. is that they are also great philosophers who taught us the truth & value of life - on how we should live in peace and love.

he is overrated a s a scientist, but not as a man of courage. He became a symbol and famous because he stood courageous against the Roman Catholic Church. It was not he who detected that the Earth revolves around the sun. The astronomers of the Vatican knew this already, but they, in their pride, wanted to keep the people uneducated to establish their authority.
