JaMarcus was supposed to be the savior of the Raiders franchise and lead them to the playoffs. Not only was he the first pick in the NFL draft, he was also awarded a $68 million contract. He ended up being a total bust gaining weight quickly and failing to produce.

There a probably few things that Colorado regrets more than Mike Hampton’s 8 year, $121 million contract. Mike missed a lot of games due to lingering injuries and had an ERA of 6.15.

Alfonso Soriano is yet another case of athletes having a great season their contract year. The Cubs based their whole contract that he would continue those record shattering numbers he was putting up and gave him a $136 million dollar contract.
