On January 18, 1951, it seems as if the college baseball had collapsed as new came out about the massive point-shaving and gambling scandal reached the public. The scandal involved an amazing 32 players, many of which were incredible athletes for their respective programs.

At the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix event in 2008, the Renault team maybe a terrible and potentially fatally decision by ordering their driver to intentionally crash his car. The crash allowed his teammate to win, but put his life and other drivers in danger.

Pete Rose was an incredible baseball player with hall of fame worthy numbers. However a few years after his retirement as a player and during his stint as a manager, information starting coming out that he placed bets on games. Ultimately Pete Rose was banned from baseball and the hall of fame and lost the respect of fans.
