Farms often use fertilizers, sometimes natural ones, that can produce strong odors that can be very offensive to some. Be sure you are able to deal with it or your home is able to filter it out.

Farm equipment makes lots of noise. The equipment is not just used in the farmyard, but in the fields as well. This can be very disconcerting for some.

Farm equipment does not move very fast. You may often find yourself driving behind them and not be able to pass them.

Sometimes animals escape from the fields or enclosures and can get onto the road. You have to be careful not to hit them. They may block passage for a long period of time if you cannot get them to move.
