Wearing sunscreen daily will reduce your risk of skin cancer and help you to avoid wrinkles.
Comments:
Not true! Sunscreen contains toxic chemicals and it causes cancer. Our bodies have a natural protection to the sun. It's called melanin, and it gives us a tan. If we will be exposed to a lot of strong sun for long periods and aren't used to it, we need to cover up with UV protecting clothing and hats.

That's nonsense. The "latest research" you speak of isn't in textbooks because it's pure invention. positive thinking is good, but this crosses over into the kind of damaging quackery that potentially stops people from seeking medical help when they need it.
The latest research--that isn't even in the text books yet--shows that our thoughts create our reality, and if we believe that because a parent got cancer that we will too, then we probably will. If, however, we affirm that we are healthy and we look after our body, the gene that could have caused cancer will not express and we will be cancer-free. Thoughts become things, and it's our environment and our thoughts that create our reality, not genes.
