Best Female Country Music Singers ever

21 items ranked

These are the best female country singers ever. Sorry to you young bucks who like carrie underwood more, she doesn't make the list. And sorry to you old folks who don't think Taylor Swift belongs. She's on the list. Already.

Martina McBride Report Abuse
She could have made this list on the strength of any one of her songs, especially the ballads where she really uses her voice. But the fact that she's ran the country charts for so many years gets her close to the top.

Reba McEntire Report Abuse
She's been the face of country music for twenty years, and she's given it a very pretty face. But more importantly she's given us great songs, year after year, seemingly having a #1 hit every year. And she never gets old. She's still as pretty now as she was in the 80's and her voice still rocks the country air waves.

Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland) Report Abuse
Sugarland already has four albums out and they all rock. Throw in their Christmas LP and that's five. And Jennifer Nettles is the heart and voice of the group, and deserves every bit of credit they get.

Her songs lift your spirits and she's a great singer who chooses the right songs for her voice. She's great.

Taylor Swift Report Abuse
She's too young to know where her career will go, but at this point she's already proven to have charm and a great voice. It's only a matter of her career path to decide how high she will rank on a similar list in ten or fifteen years.

Dixie Chicks Report Abuse
I don't like some of their beliefs and the way they press their feelings onto crowds at concerts. So I don't go to their concerts. But, they do have some catchy singles and if they come on the radio I don't change the channel.
