Tenby, Wales

It was on a 'Family Fortunes' episode many years ago one Saturday night (I am sure it was in the 1990s, Central/Carlton era) that a survey was made in regards to a popular Welsh seaside resort and Tenby come out tops (top answer or numero uno). You can still visit Tenby today, west of Swansea and Cardiff. Train obviously is best, particularly during spring/summer.
