Simply the best thriller ever written. Apparently Forsyth wrote this in 29 days, and yet it's a masterpiece. A policeman has to pit his wits against an assassin out to kill General De Gaule

His most underrated book!! This book is filled with chills. Espionage, warfare, planning, action, suspense, humour and wit!! Definitely on par with the 'jackal'. The best conclusion ever!
