Swimming Report Abuse
Swimming is fun and is the only sport that works all parts of the body. You can swim laps, join lessons, do water aerobics or just splash around in the water for exercise. When done rigourously, swimming will burn a lot of calories per hour.

In the summer, roller blading is fun in the park, beach or just on city roads. You don't have to be incredibly skilled and it gives your legs a great work out.

Yoga is almost always done in the form of a class so it is fun and does not seem like exercise. There are many beginners' classes at gyms that you can join that give a great workout. Yoga helps stretch the body and relax the mind, making it a great form of exercise.

Hiking is great because it doesn't cost anything! All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes, a bottle of water and a friend to go hiking. For non-athletic people this is ideal because you can talk with friends and get a workout at the same time.
