127 Hours Report Abuse
James Franco should win an Oscar for this performance, and perhaps he will. When this story first broke about 6 years ago, I remember it vividly. I watched a documentary on it on the Discovery Channel. A man gets trapped while hiking and the only way for him to get out is to cut off his own arm. The fact that this is a true story makes it truly remarkable. A must-see. The best movie of the year.

Shutter Island Report Abuse
While I admit, I did guess the twist rather early on in the movie, it was still a lot of fun to watch and suspenseful. And I definitely did not guess that the twist was going to keep on twisting until my brain hurt.

Buried Report Abuse
For a movie with basically 2 characters - Ryan Reynolds, who is trapped underground in a box, and his cell phone which he uses to contact only a handful of people, it is really fantastic. It is definitely an edge of your seat kind of movie that races the clock.

Remember Me Report Abuse
The twist at the end of this movie shocked me, to say the least. I cried for at least an hour after it was over. And I will never ever forget a second of it, even if I never see it again.

Inception Report Abuse
Leonardo DiCaprio is blowing my mind this year. His talent just keeps growing with every role. This movie is extremely strange and hard to follow but if you manage to, it will be one of the best movies you have ever seen. If you need to take a break for any reason, pause it, because if you miss even a second of this movie you will be lost for the rest of it. It is definitely worth the confusion.

Get Him to the Greek Report Abuse
This movie is hilarious. Russell Brand is amazing as Aldus Snow, the rocker first made infamous in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If you are in need of a good, inappropriate laugh (or 50) then this is worth the rental fee.
