To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee Report Abuse
I will never get sick of this book and I will always want to be Scout, a 5 year old. Scout and Jem's adventures with Boo Radley, experience with racism, and ability to grow up separating themselves from southern nonsense due to their open-minded and fair father, Atticus, always keep me coming back for more. This book made me love books in general.

Catcher in the Rye Report Abuse
Holden Caulfield is possibly one of the best known characters in all of literature. No one does teenage angst like JD Salinger, who pin points it all perfectly. Holden's rebellion and desire to just have someone who cares are captivating.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - JK Rowling Report Abuse
The beginning of the most famous epic collection of all time, in my humble opinion. Harry Potter is already infamous and has been out for just over a decade. It will go down as a classic series. JK Rowling has amazing talent, creativity, vision, and imagination, as well as flawless attention to detail and captivating style.

Truman Capote's take and interviews with the killers of one of the worst cold-blooded murders in history. Capote details the murders, offers some astonishing insight and empathy, and builds suspense. Some say Capote developed feelings for one of the murderers, even.
