Perhaps the best-known American playwright, Williams wrote A Streetcar Named Desire, The Glass Menagerie, and Cat on Hot Tin Roof; he won Pulitzer Prizes for Streetcar and Cat.

You’re probably most familiar with Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? or The Zoo Story, but Albee won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for three other plays (A Delicate Balance, Seascape, and Three Tall Women).
