Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar Report Abuse
Their brightly colored skin indicates that they are dangerous. Their sting usually causes rash but there have also been several deaths caused by that insect.

I've been stung at least 3 times in 5 days by these. Though it itched n felt like fiberglass under the skin, there were no long- lasting pain.

Stinging Rose Caterpillar Report Abuse
Another very colourful caterpillar. It has long yellow spines, which almost call you to touch it, which would be an awful idea as it stings.

Wattle Cup Caterpillar Report Abuse
It is brightly colored and looks like a piece of rock candy, however you should not touch one of these as the pain caused by their stings is said to be worse than being stung by three wasps.
