Cars shouldn't be only about speed.. its plain wrong. Try do something else than have high peak horsepower, be it innovation in less fuel usage (mclaren MP4) or something completly diffent (Fisker Karma and the cars alike that). These 2 cars have 10l and 2.1l per 100 km consumption, and whilst its not fair to compare to, but just to give an idea, Veyron consumes 78l per 100 km at top speeds. Whilst its not a problem for the owners, what I'm trying to say is that only trying to achieve peak power isn't very innovative. Many of the other super car manufacturers are looking forward to manufacture less fuel consuming super cars (electric or hybrid), so eventually Bugatti will fall behind unless they start to innovate.

fastest car maybe, but would you drive it fast on streets / on a track without only going straight line? I doubt many of the owners don't, and for that reason I think its overrated.

I happen to own this car. Both the s13 and s14 are very good drift / turbo cars for the buck, especially the ones outside US. The other is more neutral whilst the other is more understeering, so whilst they're same badge, they are very different cars. Mind you, they both are very good, just that drifting s13 might take more skill, but when you happen to get good with it, you will outclass many s14 drivers.

Zero to 60 only 5.8 secs, but top speed = 164mph-(stock set-up with rev-limit removed)

This car is NOT a fast drag racer, BUT, the 240sx is a MUCH faster road-racer and can shut down many cars on this list on a road course where handling and overall sports car set-up comes in to play.

is hit and miss. has to be a jz engine, otherwise things will eventually go boom. Biggest thing going for it is the fact it has very good peak power and torque, but problem for many tends to be, to get that power to wheels without too much oversteer or loss of traction. Those who know what they're doing in sense of dynamics tend to get alot more out of this car than those who go only for power upgrades.

The 350z and 300zx TT are about the same performance 0-60,but the 350 handles better.

Could be alot more powerful, an old 300zx TT performs better. Could use more power/torque and maybe an additional turbo version. Is more of a yuppie car than a realistic street sports atm

Kinda overrated.. very good if you don't mind the RHD, happen to live in a RHD country. Other than that, s14 is pretty much the same car. No, the tranny or the LSD of the s15 are not good. Only thing going for s15 are the looks, and because you can grab the same horsepower very easily with s14. Both cars can grab easily 300horsepower, so in the end, its a question of convenience, price, your taste. Both are good cars, just that neither has a very good tranny or lsd.
