My wife and I took a year off and traveled around the world to visit symphony after symphony. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at the stunning beauty of the hall, but better yet, the acoustics were astounding. You could close your eyes and feel like you were sitting in the middle of the orchestra playing. It was stunning!

Walt Disney Concert Hall was, in fact, designed for sound! You can hear a needle/pin drop onto the stage from the farthest seats. It's possibly the most well-constructed concert hall in the world, if not the most seismically resistant.

Highly praised by well known personalities of the Classical Music for its excellent acoustics and the extremely beautiful architecture.

Malaysia's first purpose built concert hall for classical music by Malaysia's oil company, Petronas. It is the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, this hall has hosted many of the world's leading artists and orchestras. DFP also presents international jazz performances as well as traditional Malaysian music and dance cultural productions. Through its wide variety of musical presentations, it provides significant cultural enrichment opportunities for all Malaysians to experience.
The concert hall is an 885-seat jewel box shaped room. The space is designed to serve every kind of music from orchestra with chorus, to Malaysian dance, to solo violin. The room is fully equipped for professional recording and fully isolated from the surrounding office towers, science center, and shopping mall. Its most unique feature is a concealed movable ceiling that can change the acoustic volume of the room from as little as 470,000 f2 (13300 m2) for meetings and chamber music concerts to as much as 670,000 f2 (18975 m2) for large orchestra concerts and organ recitals. This feature was designed by acoustic consultant Kirkegaard Associates.
Dewan Filharmonik Petronas is strategically located between the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC environment. It was officially opened on 17 August 1998 by the patron of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Siti Hasmah and former Malaysian prime minister, Mahathir bin Mohamad.

Hosted the Grand Ole Opry for years and continues to be a venue that all musicians wish to play at. It has awesome acoustics, and there isn't a bad seat in there. It isn't called the Mother Church of Country Music for no reason.

Relatively new concert hall and therefore overlooked on most lists. After having attended concerts in about a dozen famous halls around the world, this one has some of the finest acoustics of them all.

Almost acoustically perfect. Four Grammy awards have been given to recordings made in Mechanics Hall and nine additional nominations. Although its in a small city like Worcester, and the Shadow of Boston Symphony Hall, this is a grand hall of spectacular value.

Are you joking! .......it's not that good for acoustics. To say it's better for acoustics than Birmingham's Symphony Hall, or Manchester's Bridgwater Hall is being ridiculous. Then there's Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall and the Sage, Gateshead - two more halls in England that possess fine acoutics - certainly better than Turner Sims.
