AUSTRALIAN MAX Report Abuse
This is definitely the best strong beer in the world!! Seriously, no other strong beer even comes close to the wonderful creamy mouth feel and delicious flavour of a MAX.

Pliny The Younger Report Abuse
From memory: What can I say, It was the smoothest, best balanced beer I've ever had. The smell was intoxicating with tropical fruitiness and some nice hops right off the bat.

Trappist Westvleteren 12 Report Abuse
The beer poured a cloudy, deep chestnut brown with a creamy, light tan, one-finger head that quickly dissipated to a thick, lasting mass of bubbly froth. Tiny streaks of lacing trickled down the glass.

Pours black, oily and dead flat. Looks much like regular Dark Lord, but even less carbonated.

Canadian Breakfast Stout Report Abuse
On-tap at Stoutfest, Armsby Abbey. My next few reviews from the fest will be brief, too stoked and busy to take notes, but I remember the beers well for sure. Glad I got this before it kicked.

The Abyss Report Abuse
Pours a nice solid black color with a minimal thin film on top. Great aroma of roasted malts with some warm, sweet hints of alcohol (not too strong, though!). Has a sweet roasted malt flavor.
