The Hollerer [1962] Report Abuse
In this masterpiece of film making, Newman portrays Billy Bob Simian, world-renowned eight-time Champion of the Spivey Corner, NC Hog Hollerin Contest. One Hollywood movie critic called his performance "majestic".

Comments:
Newman was phenomenal in this film. Does anyone know if he did his own hollerin', or if it was dubbed? Either way, he's great, and he looks so sexy in those old, tattered bib overalls. I give this movie three thumbs up......pandy

Suds [1965] Report Abuse
Newman, a real-life lover of brew, portrays Burt Bunker, champion beer guzzler and part-time automobile mechanic. And, yes, Newman did receive an Oscar nomination for his performance. In later years, Newman was quoted as saying that he must have really "gotten into this role", because he couldn't remember even making the movie.
