An adorable little town, perfect for a girls' getaway.

Best place to stroll, shop, sit by the creek and ponder life...The Salado Mercantile has to be on your stopping list...great Strawberry Lemonade and the store owner should be named...:The Paula Dean of Salado" Shared many recipes and was just a hoot!

Fredericksburg

Rich with the German history that makes up so much of who Texas is today, shops and antiques, adorable or rustic (take your pick!) bed and breakfasts and the best Oktoberfest this side of the Atlantic Ocean, Fredericksburg is the perfect small Texas town.

New Braunfels

Complete with a beautiful old town square and courthouse, shops and antiques and a nice old hotel you can still stay in, The Faust, New Braunfels is a perfect place to go back to history and then go to the best waterpark of today, Schlitterbahn.
