Considered one of the greatest science fiction writers ever and one of the founding members of the genre, Clarke is known for his Space Odyssey series, particularly the novel “2001: A Space Odyssey,” which has become one of the most influential science fiction novels ever written.

While he may not have been popular or recognized during his own time the decades after his death have come to place Dick as one of the most original and shocking minds in the history of science fiction. Many of his reality bending novels have been made into movies and he is a master of exploring what constitutes reality
