Children being chopped up with an axe - says it all really! Get out your vomit bag. I still can't bear to think of that scene. Skillfully directed and acted but nauseating. It's even worse when you find out it was based on actual events. And Jolie was seriously miscast.

A hard-working lawyer, attached to his cell phone, can't find the time to communicate with his family. A couple is drawn into a dangerous situation when their secrets are exposed online. A widowed ex-cop struggles to raise a mischievous son who cyber-bullies a classmate. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen that performs on an adult-only site. They are strangers, neighbors and colleagues and their stories collide in this riveting dramatic thriller about ordinary people struggling to connect in today's wired world.
This movie makes you see the intricacies of the online world in its most grim form. Absolutely depressing.

I actually believe the only purpose of this film is to encourage you to off yourself. Bleak, dark, depressing, eerie ****ing edge-of-the-world holy crusades **** with little point other than making you question the point in living.

This is a well made but extremely harrowing movie, the scene where a young girl drowns is horrifying and upsetting. The final scene starring Donald Sutherland truely is the stuff of nightmares.

This is the movie that says "Hmmn, I wonder how much mud I can drag you through." Story centering around the people of a township who become heavily involved in the Irish Republican Army, which then spirals you into a nightmare where all of the English are evil, blood-vomiting serial killers/rapists (only a slight exaggeration) and everyone either dies or is messed up for life. You'll want to swallow a bottle of sleeping pills afterward.

In a reversal of the western dream of running away to join a circus, little boy is sold to a circus in India and from then on it's all downhill. A tour de force of world cinema and an expose of street kids' awful lives, this is nonetheless a depressing film. Throughout his ordeal, he never cries - until the final gut wrenching scene when he breaks into sobs and so will you, too. Wonderful but harrowing. Not for the emotionally fragile.

Two middle-aged men meet each other with cancer in a hospital. They found out the only have a little bit of time to live so they make a bucket list (everything they want to do before they die). In the end, after the movie warms up your heart, they die and it made everyone at my party cry, even the toughest guy in my school.
