Cozmo Kramer Report Abuse
Yes, the physical comedy was brilliant but the quirky, offbeat Kramer was much more than pratfalls. His bohemian lifestyle and weird inventions added so much to the show he became many people's favorite character.

George Costanza Report Abuse
Maybe its because we could see a little bit or ourselves in him but for some reason this short, stocky, slow witted, bald man got more popular with each season. Between his low self esteem, devious personality and outright lies this character was a gold mine of comedy.

David Putty Report Abuse
The only recurring significant other of any of the main characters, Putty became a fan favorite with his distinctive monotone and dimwitted squint. His brilliant turn on Seinfeld led to other roles as a voice actor and in the live action version of The Tick.

Jerry Seinfeld Report Abuse
Yeah, he's the star of the show and the one true comedian in the cast but more often than not Jerry was forced to play straight man to his wacky friends. His acting was terrible in the first two seasons, but he quickly adapted to TV and found his voice on the show.

Elaine Benes Report Abuse
One of strongest female characters in sitcom history, Elaine always held her own with the boys. As the show progresses her struggles with men and her career gave depth to her character and gave her many opportunities to shine as an actress.
