Swaddle your baby Report Abuse
Wrapping your infant in a smooth soft blanket, can give your little one a sense of warmth, security and closeness familiar from the womb. This is probably the best way to calm your baby

White Noise Report Abuse
Something that generates a white noise works well for us. There are several on the market. We bought a sleepybee.

Use white noise Report Abuse
When they were in the womb it was a very noisy place. Your baby may find comfort in hearing a continuous rhythmic sound like a vacuum cleaner or clothes dryer.

Comments:
Babies also love rhythmic sound. We use a sound machine set on ocean waves. If our baby girl wakes up and hears the sounds she went to sleep to she is more than likely to go right back to sleep. Works great. A friend told us about SleepyBee that is a take along sound machine.sleepybees.com It's perfect for when we are away from home. Love it!

Take your baby to a dark quiet room Report Abuse
Baby might be overstimulated. Shutting her eyes and turning her head away from the noise is a good sign that baby is over stimulated.
