1962 Packers Report Abuse
The Packers were the blueprint for success in the early days of the NFL. This team won 16 straight games, starting the season by outscoring their opponents 109-14 in the first four games.

Comments:
The Packers have won 13 total championships, more than any other team. Though the packers won three straight championships in '65-'67 as well as a championship in '61, many consider the '62 championship team the greatest of them all.

1969 vikings Report Abuse
no. 1 offense, no. 1 defense, no. 2 defense ever in the superbowl era.

Comments:
If they had not lost their one and only superbowl, they would then have won 5 or 6 superbowls in the next 7 years? Maybe more?? How many more? 2? 5? Might they have won 11 or 12 or maybe 20 superbowls in the next 7 years? Wowzers.

That SuperBowl was biggest upset ever. If Vikings had won you're looking at probably 5 or 6 in the next 5 to 7 years. Maybe more.

1989 49ers Report Abuse
They had four Super Bowl victories in the 80s, but this might have been the best of the bunch. They rolled through the league with one of the best offenses ever before trouncing the Broncos in the Super Bowl 55-10.

1966 Packers Report Abuse
Third world championship of the 60's and the first of 3 straight, including the first two superbowls. Starr, Hornung, Taylor, McGee, Ringo, Taylor, and Gregg were at their peak.

Comments:
'66 was the second of three straight, but, other than that, I agree.

1985 Bears Report Abuse
They went 15-1 and possessed the most dominant defense in Football History. It wasn't so much that they won it was how - by embarrassing teams and injuring quarterbacks. The 85 Bears were a force of nature and if it wasn't for a young Marino they would have gone undefeated.

Comments:
Sorry, but they weren't the most dominate defense ever. As a matter of fact, by points allowed, they weren't even in the top 10. Or top 15 I think.

1972 Dolphins Report Abuse
They may be the only undefeated team in history, but I can't rank them any higher than this. They had a ridiculously easy regular season schedule and won at least four games that year they had no business winning.

thats why its a game any given sunday and obviously undefeated they had some sort of business winning them
