So many memorable Olympic moments in track and field from years gone by. British stars such as Sally Gunnell, Johnathan Edwards, Christine Ohroughu and Mo Farah as well as international ones like Michael Johnson, Usain Bolt, Yelena Isinbayeva and David Rudisha. I should also mention Kelly Holmes and Jessica Ennis.

This is Olympic football which in its early years was the biggest tournament until the FIFA World Cup. Great Britain competed for the first time during the London 2012 Olympics as 'Team GB'. The stadiums were held all over the United Kingdom including Wembley.
