Every year hard drive sizes increase drastically. It used to be that is you had a 80Gig Hard Drive you had TONS of room. Now you can have a 500 GIG hard drive that will be outdated in just a matter of a couple of years if not less. Digital downloads make money for more than just the company who supplies them to you, Hard drive manufacturers constantly need to make larger and larger hard drives to satisfy our need for more.

C'mon, it even shows up on the TV screen now so you don't have to get up and check the caller ID.

With TIVO, DDR and SKY+ you can watch your favorite shows when you want to, not when the networks broadcast them and of course want you sitting there watching. One can only wonder how that will effect the Neilson Ratings, or will it?
