There can`t be a more important site in the world. It is there where Jesus released all mankind from the sins and reconciled man with God
Added 12 years ago by guest, 5 points Vote + to improve this comment's ranking Vote - to decrease this comment's ranking
This is the place where according to tradition Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead, three days later. The places are close together so that they were able to build this church over the place in the 4th century, fostered by Emperess Helena. The place is not holy by itself. But many Christians say so.

True, built by angels. The Bible says in :2Cor. 11,14: "And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light."

The Kaaba is a plce of moon worship. But the Muslims say that they worship Allah. Why does Allah need a black stone for worship? Can enybody explain this?
Added 12 years ago by guest, 36 points Vote + to improve this comment's ranking Vote - to decrease this comment's ranking
why do you say, it is dirty? The muslims believe in this, and you should respect it. You should respect it, even when the muslim Quran says that Jews or Christaians are pigs. Because Christians and high spirited, good educated people should never say pig to a human being, but also should not say dirty to one`s faith.

Abraham was never in Macca. The Kaaba is an old site stemming from times before Islam. It was Muhammad who had the idea to keep to this old pagan arabic relic to keep the arab tribes at one place of worship together. The black stone has nothing to do with proper Islam.
