IMHO, Mr Reznor's music has never been Industrial in the true meaning of the word, if there is any. His new songs in 2010 are really Reznorisque and good, but hardly industrial.

You couldn't underestimate the contribution of German bands to industrial music in general, Einstuerzende Neubauten, Die Krupps, Oomph!, :Wumpscut: inclusive, not to mention Rammstein. Die Krupps have had a career somewhat similar to that of Ministry: starting from synth pop through electronic body to industrial metal. I'm glad they have resumed activity.
