A really excellent game that just happens to have an amusing card-based combat system, Baiten Kaitos may feature some of the worst voice-acting in game history, but it's still great.

A sort of "Magic Lite," Duels of the Planeswalkers wins points for its accessibility. This is a great way to get new players in without intimidating them.

Monopoly-meets-Magic: The Gathering. Saga is the latest and flashiest of the Culdcept titles, but earlier versions are still worth a look.

Notable mostly for its ambitious concept, Eye of Judgment uses the Playstation camera accessory to scan physical cards into the electronic game-space. Clearly a game for enthusiasts.

This is pretty much the definitive electronic card game experience. M:TGO is closely tied to the physical product, so playing online is a nice substitute for face-to-face play.
