They're the Super Mario Brothers, come on! I'm surprised they're not on here already!
Though I guess it might be easy to forget that they are twins. Which in my opinion only makes them even more notable as twins, specifically as quite possibly the most trope-defying twins in all of fiction: they're not identical despite both being male for one thing; Luigi is always more than happy to call Mario his "Big Bro"; and the sheer amount of brotherly love that they share is nothing short of ADORABLE. Seriously, play literally any of the Mario & Luigi RPGs, it is PRECIOUS how often they hug. And I didn't even bring up Luigi's Mansion yet.
In short, the Mario Brothers are the best fratelli gemelli in fictitious existence and they more than deserve to be in any "Top Fictional Twins" list. Wahoo!
