The Science Center is a great place to spend a boiling summer afternoon with the kids. There are plenty of activities and interactive exhibits to keep them busy, plus a giant IMAX screen for when you all get too tired to move.

You can stay pretty cool on a blistering summer afternoon when you're partially submerged in 68-degree water. Tubing the Salt River provides for fun and relaxation and the opportunity to see the beautiful desert landscape around Phoenix. Don't forget your sunscreen!

The D-backs's domed, air-conditioned home field makes for a great place to escape the 110+ degree weather. Bask in the Americana instead of baking in the sun!
