1.
The Sleeping Dragon and the greatest strategic and tactical mind of the entire book. His brilliance and foresight singlehandedly saves Liu Bei and Shu on many occasions. In fact, Shu never would have even existed if it were not for him. He and his white feather fan are as familiar a sight to fans of the book as Lu Bu and Red Hare.
Comments:
Zhuge Liang failed to heed his lord Liu Bei's dying request when Liu Shan proved incompetent. This led to the fall of Shu.
Zhuge Liang did not aquire arrows by sending in boats full of hay and fake soldiers. That is a fabricated story only for story telling purposes . What really did happen when Sun Quan was on a boat attacking Cao Cao he was attacked by many archers who hit one side of his ship . The ship was starting to keel over because of the weight of the arrows so Sun Quan order for the boat to be turned around so the next volley of arrows would hit the other side to balance the boat out
Zhuge liang is the best for he has so smart plots, but ends up with an old age
We can't argue, history won't be changed..
If Liu Bei had listened to him all time, then they will win for no doubt! I Believe Zhuge Liang is the best in 3 kingdoms!
Starting from he got 100.000+ arrows from Cao Cao, the north wind which could have destroyed Cao Cao, got Jing province, his all time prediction on enemy (Cao Cao, Zhou Yu, Sima Yi etc, all are not his match!) and many more.. one word, BEST!
Don't forget that Shu was formed from a small army that Liu Bei had. He should be the inventor of Shu!
He is the BEST! No doubt, nobody can be compared to him in three kingdoms.. If he was the Lord, the history would all be his!
Zhuge Liang could have conquered the land, but the folly of his generals and statesmen prevented his progress. Example: Guan Yu, Ma Su, and even Liu Bei
I think that Cao Cao is better than him because as he is state as "The Sleeping Dragon". It means that he have the potential but haven't use it yet. Is that what it is called being smart? and without using it? With his potential he could even stop Cao Cao before he raise to power. Which is after that is quite too late! and as the result, he couldn't conquer the Wei as he promise to Liu Bei.
2.
The man who laid the foundations for the kingdom of Wei, whose brilliance and overwhelming ambition made him a worthy foe and foil for Liu Bei. No other ruler in the book is as successful as he is.
Comments:
He is lustfull of other peoples wife for example
Da Qio who is the wife of Zhau yu.
Cao Cao is a very wise warlord as seen that he has 1.great strategic as seen when attack Yuan Shao. And is a 2.great ruler as seen that when he died and Cao Pi become the ruler instead of him. Cao Pi is much a greater ruler than Liu Shan, son of Liu Bei, which means that Cao Pi have had a good teach by Cao Cao. Unlike Liu Bei, when Liu Shan become the ruler he is a very bad ruler, he always play and drink all the day which leads to the fall of kingdom Shu. And another good quality of Cao Cao is to have a 3.foresight as when he fight with the yellow turban, he knows that he will need more soldiers to fight with the others province in the future. He then use this opportunity to change all the yellow tuban that surrender to become his power. (which is around 300,000 people) He is always very 4.prepared. He knows that the supply is the most valuable thing in the war. Without it the soldier cannot fight. He then order as much people as possible to grow rice and produce many other foods. He even order the soldier to do these things, too, when kingdom are in peace. Unlike Zhuge Liang, when he fought with Sima Yi, he often retreat because the lack of supply even though the victory is so close! This means that Cao Cao had almost lay every single thing for the future people of Wei! He is the truely great warlord!
3.
The great warrior of Shu whose single-minded defense of his lord saved the day on many an occassion. He even ran through enemy lines just to save his lord's son and succeeded. He fought for a long time, finally dying of old age and considered one of Shu's greatest assets.
Comments:
He was very young when he first become a general l, but soon he knows how to fight and he is one of the greatest warrior all the time.
History would be Shu's if Zhao Yun didn't save the stupid son of Liu bei.. :D
4.
5.
6.
The very paragon of virtue and the man who founded the kingdom of Shu. It is his humility that drives much of the action of the story, and it is his charisma and kindness that attracts some of the greatest warriors and strategists in the book to Shu.
Comments:
Well, historically most of Shu has been altered more than any other kingdom. Zhuge really had nothing to do with Chi Bi or tons of other stuff, while Liu Bei was nothing more than a bandit that pillaged and pestered people for many many years. Guan Yu was a fugitive for awhile, and Zhang Fei raped a 12 year old slave girl for his children. It's funny to think the hero side might have been the actual bad guys.
7.
The greatest warrior of the era, a man whose ambition and lust for battle singlehandedly alters the course of history and the story. He could fight all the great warriors of the period on equal if not greater terms, and he and his steed, Red Hare, were a sight to fear for all soldiers.

Comments:
in the battle of He Fei he fight with only 800 army against 100.000, it's 1:125, plus he beat 2 of their general. he saved his army in encirclement while beat the rest of 100.000, he is the one that serve cao cao and lu bu. cao cao knew his potential and spare his life and then become loyal to cao cao and his next successor cao pi. he's so devastating in battle that even made sun quan think twice (heck it's even thrice) before fight against him. his name can make a children stop crying (he's boogeyman in three kingdoms, hahahaha)
10.
Comments:
He is not stupid at all. He used trick to beat Zhang He's (a great general of Cao Cao, surprisingly not listed here) and recruited Yan Yan.

Weather you hate him or love him, he was a prominent character of the era and deserves a rank above some of these guys that are only here for there fictional counterpart's achievements.

By the time he becomes a relevant character in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he is already at an advanced age and is already considered a hero of the city he defends, ChangSha. The history departs from Romance of the Three Kingdoms here. History says that he simply urges his Governor to surrender, and the surrender is accepted. But in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he is sent to duel against Guan Yu (2nd sworn brother of Liu Bei). In the first round, he is easily knocked off his horse by Guan Yu’s attack. However, Guan Yu does not believe in trickery and foul play in duels, so he pauses the duel and assists Huang Zhong back onto his horse so that they can have a fair fight.
Between the 1st and 2nd round, Huang Zhong receives an order from the Governor to use his world famous archery skills to kill Guan Yu during the Duel. Guan Yu charges at him, but Huang Zhong runs. He does not wish to kill the man who has proven to be virtuous. But Guan Yu does not wish to stop. So he fires a shot to warn Guan Yu not to follow him, accurately and precisely cutting only the strap of Guan Yu’s Helmet. Guan Yu realizes that it was HE who was being spared.
20.
He should be considered the 2nd best after Zhuge Liang.. Without him, the history of Shu would have stopped at Xi Chuan, which Liu Bei won't attack.. It's his death (sacrifice) which made Liu Bei changed his mind, which even Zhuge Liang can't persuade him!
21.
Formidable warrior. When his weapons dulled, he grabbed foes as weapons to kill other foes. After his death, his enemies would not dare approach his corpse. Without his premature death, he would have been a major player.
24.
30.
He had the strength to unite the land after almost 100 years of civil war. Who else could say they done that?
Comments:
The only reason he was able to was because Shu was gone and Wu was failing. He also inherited the old state of Cao Wei and all of its military might. These factors lead me to put him in a similar area. If I had to choose the Num. 1, I would choose either Jia Xu or Zhuge Liang because of their crucial help in the forces of the Shu Han and Cao Wei.
31.
Ma Chao was a fierce warrior and one of the five tiger generals. His honour and bravery earned him the nickname Ma Chao the splendid. He dueled Zhange Fei to a draw which only a few people were able to do.
32.
38.
42.
43.
A mountain bandit warlord from north china, went south to beat yuan shao on numerous occations and died of actual age rather than some assassination attempt on him
