Corn Report Abuse
A perennial American favorite as a part of a barbecue. Great on the cob or as separate kernels. It may technically be a grain, but it's popularly considered a vegetable and tastes like one too. The sweeter, the better!

Lettuce Report Abuse
The most versatile vegetable of all. It goes well in salads, hamburgers, sandwiches, tacos, and all sorts of other vegetables. It may not be very flavorful, but it's great as a part of something!

Asparagus Report Abuse
Very distinctly flavorful. It goes well with butter or sauce, and it cooks quickly, hence the expression, "fast as boiled asparagus."

Bright orange and very crunchy. You can eat them raw, cooked, or as a part of a salad or something else. The best kind of root there is!

The tender, fleshy part of the leaves are great and tasty, especially with mayonnaise, lemon, or salad dressing. The hearts are also quite delicious and good in many dishes.
