One of the toughest fighers in the world, as well as one of its greatest detectives and possibly the smartest man alive. Although he has caused trouble with the JLA in the past, like with the Tower of Babel and pre-Infinite Crisis buildup, he is someone that they can always count upon.

A member who's only purpose is to act as a contact between the underwater realm and a translator to between human and fish. His only accomplishment is introducing Aqua Lad. A few feats under his belt, but none that could not be handled by other Leaguers... Expendable....

Martian Manhunter
The heart of the team. One of the founding members, he is to the JLA as Captain America is to the Avengers. Perhaps coincidentally, when the two teams joined forces in a crossover, Cap led the team, but Martian Manhunter coordinated everything with his telepathy. A part of more iterations of the team than anyone else, and as tough a fighter as Superman. He lived and died as the ultimate Justice League member.

The greatest woman to ever serve on the team. A founding member of the JLA, and one of the "Big Three" or the "Trinity." A consistent member of the team and a bane for all those supervillains who hoped that a woman would be the weak link in the JLA.

Possibly the greatest speedster of them all and founding member of the JLA. His friendship with Hal Jordan was one of the cornerstones of the team, and his sacrifice at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths made him a saint in the eyes of his peers.
