Devastating wins over Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin (for the Light Heavyweight Championship) send Rashad Evans to the top of the TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) class. Whether it was a highlight-reel head kick knockout or a blistering right hand that left the UFC's long-time poster boy on the canvas, Evans has shown tremendous growth from his days as a Michigan State University wrestler. Despite losing the belt to Lyoto Machida, Rashad's post-reality TV resume is second to none.
2.
The first and most popular Ultimate Fighter, Griffin bested Quinton Jackson in a five-round battle to win the Light Heavyweight Championship before losing to Rashad Evans. Griffin's war with Stephan Bonner in the TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) 1 finale catapulted the UFC to never before seen heights. Add in a spot on the cover of the recently released UFC Undisputed 2009 video game, and Griffin has been the ultimate example of what can follow reality show success.
7.
Despite amassing an impressive record in the 205lb weight class, Bisping dropped to Middleweight following a decision loss to Rashad Evans. With the specter of being out-muscled by larger fighters no longer an issue, Bisping has been impressive in his new weight class while displaying dynamic striking. He returned to The Ultimate Fighter as a coach during season 9 and will face opposing coach, and MMA legend, Dan Henderson at the much-anticipated UFC 100.
8.
After losing to Diego Sanchez in a Middleweight battle on the TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) 1 finale, Florian moved down to the Lightweight class where he has amassed a 9-1 record. Despite losing to Sean Sherk in a title match, Florian has continued to add to an already impressive repertoire on his way to earning another title shot, this time against BJ Penn at UFC 101 in August 2009. Plus, he had the quote of the year in 2007: "Who wants to see fights finished at 155? I finish fights!"
10.
Sanchez looked well on his way to earning a title shot at Welterweight before getting derailed by American Kickboxing Academy teammates Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch. Undersized while fighting at 170lbs, Sanchez has since moved to the Lightweight class and is headlining the TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) 9 Finale on June 20, 2009 versus Clay Guida. A frenetic pace is the name of the game with Sanchez as he looks to challenge for the title currently owned by BJ Penn.
