Luke Skywalker

Luke was supposed to be the protagonist and the hero, but most of the time he seemed weak and childish. It was much easier to root for Han Solo than for Luke, which is a severe weakness in a main character.

Both as a boy and a young man, Anakin Skywalker was one of the most petulant, willful, and spoiled characters ever created. It was painful to watch him interact with the other characters, especially since all emotion seemed manufactured and all conversation seemed wooden and stilted.
