There was the UK version when Nicky Campbell and Carol Smillie were the original presenters in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There were various presenters including Bradley Walsh and Jenny Powell. Scottish Television made the programme.

Remade in the UK as Celebrity Squares. Started in the 1970s then remade in the 1990s when Bob Monkhouse presented it. Central Television/Carlton and Reg Grundy co-produced it. ITV has remade it in recent times.

The UK version, started in 1998, was presented by Chris Tarrant. I remember he presented 'Everybody's Equal, a short lived game show in the 1990s.
