This trade is pretty infamous. Clearly the Cowboys helped themselves at the Vikings expense on this one despite the fact that Walker was still decent. He just wasn't worth that much that late in his career and Vikings desparately wanted to win a championship.

Davis dosen't make the team while Steve Largent makes the Hall of Fame.

1973 New Orleans trades away the second pick of the 1973 draft (Bert Jones) for Billy Newsome and the Colts 4th round pick
Billy Newsome was an unknown defensive linemen who had a couple of decent years as a Saint. Bert Jones was one of the best QB's in the 1970's before he was hurt in 1978.

Hadl wasn't even a starter anymore and he was old at the time of the trade. He never helped the Packers and cost a ton.
