Twisted-wing parasite Report Abuse
Super creepy insects. The larva wait on a flower for a host to fly along. They then bury themselves into its body and feed off of its organs and blood. Adult males leave the host to search for a mate, but they are so good at it they can’t even use their mouths to eat. Females never leave the hosts or grow legs or wings, they just shove the reproductive organs out for the big event.
