Target Corp.

Normally I would consider this a discount store, but 1) they own Marshall Fields 2) Have several divisions of the brand 3) Have great quality 4) You can find just about everything you need.

Great brands and return policy.

JC Penney

They have done a phenomenal job re-branding the last few months, even better than "The Softer Side of Sears" campaign which took off like a rocket several years ago (unfortunately it didn't have the staying power). JCP is focusing on customer service, great brands, value, and quality.

Nordstrom

Still one of the best in the business. Great shopping experience. Fantastic customer service (personalized, no matter how much you want to spend), great range of brands and prices. Always clean.

Their chocolates are still some of the best.
