Ronnie wrote these lyrics in quick response to Neil Young's Southern Man. he wrote "I hope Neil young will remember that a southern man dont need him around anyhow". Basically saying that Neil was being just as prejudice as he was accusing all southern men as being. Ronnie was actually Liberal on more than one issue, especially the care of the environment.
