"Obsolete" is kind of a good thing, it isn't going to crash because it has been tested and retested, and all the bugs have been worked out. Sometimes old=good.

Prolog Report Abuse
I've used Java, C++, C, Objective C, Perl, Python, Matlab, Html, Ocaml, ML, PHP, Lisp, Visual Basic, Scheme, Google Go, and the list goes on. Nothing has come close to the ease of use of Prolog for me. You basically write pseudo-code and it becomes a program. 100 line programs become 4. The speed and efficiency of it isn't amazing but its extremely fast and does complicated math with ease.
