The Best and Meanest Rivalries in the NFL dating all the way back to their first games against each other. Just my opinion but open to hear all of yours.

Cowboys / Redskins
Cowboys Lead 62-40-2 as of 11/22/11. NFC East Rivalry and always heated everytime they play. They have a combined 27 nfl championships including 8 SB titles. (Cowboys-8, Skins-3). This rivalry takes place all the way from segregation issues to washington losing in OT on 11/20/11 gives them the #2 spot.

Packers / Bears
Bears Lead 92-85-6 as of 11/22/11. NFL's oldest rivalry. A combine 22 NFL Championships including 5 SB titles. (packers-4, bears-1) A strong history and a still heated rivalry gives them the #1 spot.

Rams / 49ers
Rams Lead in a close 62-61-2 as of 11/22/11. NFC Western Rivalry that pitted civil war between San Fran and once then LA Rams from California. Combined for 6 SB titles (SF-5, Rams-1) Rams dominated early years w/ Van Brocklin who still holds the record for most passing yards in single game. SF dominated the 80's-90's with Montana era leading into the Young era who stacked up 5 SB's being the only team undefeated in the superbowl at 5-0. Rams Dominate late 90's-early 00's with greatest show on turf.
