Warm and sunny, amazing food, nice architecture, lots of art, gorgeous gardens, and mostly filled with friendly people. Probably the most ancient of the big cities in Iran because it's close to Persepolis, the seat of the Achaemenid Empire of Cyrus the Great.

Located in the centre of the country. They're famous for a type of cardamon cake and cotton cake. Very ancient with buildings mostly made of adobe. The city itself looks like something from an old fairy tale.
