Stanley Kubricks most successful film starring Kirk Douglas. Thi is an intensive, shocking, realistic film of great humanity. True to the bone, showing thy abyss of human failure and injutice. You must see this film and you will have learnt a big lesson. An anti-war movie, yes, but a totally convincing one. It shows that evil and good is on both sides, and the losers are all.
