This is arguably the original shooter. Wolfenstein 3D came first, but that's an old argument. DOOM made an new genre that is still thriving. The fact that Digimon is above DOOM and Half-Life on this list suggests that most shareranks users are morons.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I never played the first one online, but im assuming this one was better. i played this game nonstop after it came out. Prestige 10 Lvl 70. What have i gained? Absolutely nothing, but i enjoyed every second of it.
